I never really thought much about photography until I became a mom. Then, all of a sudden, there was this intense desire to capture every moment of our son's first years on film. I think a lot of that desire poured out from a desperation to make sure that I was, in fact, finally a mom- that my dream had actually come true. I'm based in Huntsville, Alabama and prefer shooting in natural light, but will often use reflectors or fill flash for added dimension. My goal is to capture the magical everyday moments shared between loved ones. The looks and smiles that seem so fleeting in our fast-paced lives. My style is classic, timeless, and fun.
I am completely self-taught. I have spent hours and hours and hours pouring over online tutorials, classes, and articles. I've got a lot of room to grow, and can't wait to keep on learning.
Because I am a homeschooling mom, I keep a very limited working schedule. My first and foremost responsibility is my family. However, I am available for sessions throughout the year and work hard to accommodate those who ask for my services.
Capturing special memories is an honor for me, and I take my work extremely seriously.
